Inktober 2026 Pop-Up Art Show
We are organizing a pop-up art show devoted to works created by local artists (Sonoma, Napa, Marin and beyond) for this year’s Inktober art challenge. Inktober is an annual art challenge started by illustrator and cartoonist Jake Parker as a way to improve inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. The show will take place somewhere in the North Bay, sometime in November or early December 2026, after the challenge is complete.
But we need your help!
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Artists! All skill levels. If you are creating art for Inktober, we want to see it, share it, and hopefully, help you sell it! See submission details for more info.
- A venue! A store, cafe, or public space with some extra wall space? A friendly gallery with a day or three between shows? An empty retail space? The private residence of an art lover? A reclaimed old shipping container? As long as it's safe, clean, and legal, we're interested! We aren't picky and we are willing to get creative.
- Sponsors! We are looking for sponsors to defray venue, marketing, insurance, and other event related costs.
- Partners! Arts organizations, schools, merchants, or anyone else with an interest in good ol’ fashioned human made art, reach out and let's talk!
- Collaborators and compatriots! Help us plan and organize!
We’d also love to include*:
- Kid’s art
- Live music
- Food & Drink
- Some artists’ tables or booths
*Depends on size and limitations of the venue.
